Kanha Travelog
My name is Nilanjana and I am an avid bird watcher and a big time wildlife enthusiast. I take frequent trips here in India to various National Parks and am always on the lookout for some unusual spotting. 48 hours back, I came back from Kanha, one of the biggest National Parks in Central India.
I am sending you a comprehensive list of all the birds I spotted there. Out of this the Blue Capped Rock Thrush is not suppossed to be found in Central India as per Richard Grimmet/Carol Inskipp field guide. But I saw it in Kanha. Another instance last month I was in Bandhavgarh National Park and I spotted the Orange Breasted Green Pigeon, which also I feel first time spotted in Central India. KANHA BIRD LIST – 29JAN-2FEB’08
